A Yen for Yarn

A Yen for Yarn is an online store and craft community, offering fine natural fibre yarns to meet the needs of a new generation of knitting and crochet enthusiasts.

Keen crafters and business owners, Shona Menzies and Kate Dimech, bring to the business a real passion for their products and love sharing the benefits of yarn crafts as a way of finding balance in an increasingly busy modern life.

Spicycat Creative was commissioned to create the A Yen for Yarn brand, with imagery that would delight and inspire, and have customers yearning to try new yarns!

We developed a fun, adaptable brand image with Kitty popping up in all sorts of unexpected places. Photos taken in a local garden provided much of the imagery for stationery, social media banners, print advertisements and signage.
